when you see the terrorism president now trying to downplay the counter terrorism intel wtf do you make of it? we are all supposed to be scared to death since 9/11 and now chertoff has a "gut feeling" and al quaeda is stronger than ever (how could it not be we upped their membership from thousands to millions for them) we secured airplanes after 9/11 and nothing else are we in for a shitstorm, supposedly al quaeda is here already which i don't doubt they can walk thru into my state without anybody seeing them, and the war on terror hasn't done a thing for our safety and the bush doctrine has the entire planet wanting to teach us a lesson... is this more fear mongering or are some more US citizens gonna pay when we get hit again and never see it coming?

It's like the school bully making people pay him so that other bullies won't beat them up.

By playing up how we will be more vulnerable and the "terrorists will get us" mentality that they want us to believe, if we don't have them for protection anymore, they will soon have the opposite effect.

Pretending that we can stop it by putting more and more soldiers there, instead of doing the opposite and removing them, will continue to backfire and make everyone else realise that the current method is not going to work and will only make things worse. The one who is pretending to defend us is the same one making people attack us.

If we weren't on their land bossing them around they wouldn't attack us. How many terrorists attacked us before we moved our troops and people over there? I'm no expert but i don't recall a stories history of foreign terrorist bombings and killings from the 1800's and most of the 1900's.

If someone moved on to my property and told me what to do i would fight back, thats what a mojority of them are doing to us now. As long as the administration can use the "well if you don't have us you'll be killed by terrorists" card, nothing will change.

it seems to me that US citizens are right back to pre-9/11 on terror now and it could and probably will bite some of us in the ass... with the new intel coming out and looking back and seeing that the bush admin was basically told of the attacks more than once before 9/11 (condy told dubya and tenet told condy, none of which anybody really paid attention to, i guess because it didn't give the exact time and place and every little detail) that when they start warning of attacks that another one might be coming, but then you think well they have yelled terror at every step of the way for 6+ yrs why should I listen now? especially when they have been saying al quaeda has been "crippled" "decimated" "killed, captured, or blown up in an air raid and turned into thin air with no evidence that a human was ever there, but be sure we killed a high up terrorist leader" and now they come out and do an about face and say "al quaeda is stronger than ever and i have a gut feeling we might get hit again"

i'm hoping that they don't let more attacks happen on US soil so they can once again regain the power they are so hungry for, a sort of Tet Offensive by terrorists on US soil and we all become prisoners and not citizens by the hand of our own gov't

Personally, when I heard Chertoff mumbling about how he had a "gut" feeling, I thought, "what b.s.". It's funny how our American government, Bush, and Bumf*ck security (homeland security) always seem to know exactly what Al-Quada is up to, and what they are going to do next, and where they are going to hit next-yet, they don't know if Bin Laden is even still alive or not, or where his exact whereabouts is if he is still alive. If something does happen because of Chertoff's b.s. "gut" feeling, and Bush's erroneous scare tactics meant for the American people so he can take attention away from his own low approval ratings, then the first people that the NSA, CIA, and FBI should investigate is Bush, Chertoff, and all of Bush's cronies, because if Al-Quada is in America-which I think they are, they use to be on the CIA payrolls back in the 1980s, and there isn't even any documentation that they were ever removed from the CIA payroll, therefore, this so called "war on terrorism" is nothing more than a deadly ploy created by our own criminal Bush administration. The scenerio will go something like this: " Bush orders Al-Quada in America to bomb some major metropolitan area like New York or L.A. or somewhere in Middle America like Chicago, etc. Thousands of innocent and clueless Americans die. Bush then automatically enforces his latest Marshal Law initiative and takes control over the entire government and country-and rules indefinitely past his 2008 deadline. Bush then bombs down Iraq, and tries to enforce his international policies on the Middle East and as much of the world as possible. Meanwhile, the nations of the world who have been building up their militaries in order to stave off Bush's hegemony attack America from our southern borders, and sleeper terrorists cells from Iran that are already within the U.S. wake up, and do a series of revenge bombings in major cities in America with strong economic influences around the world, in order to destroy that economic influence, while Israel is bombed with a nuclear weapon that will leave it virtually non-existant. America will fall as a super power. What is left of America's influence around the world will be extinguished. And, Bush's deceptive plan of trying to dominate and control the oil wealth of the middle east, and the economic centers of the world will fail miserabley-why? Because, Everyone who is already embroiled in this mess know what is at stake, and know that they will have nothing if they lose, too. So, why drive yourself crazy worrying about America getting bombed or attacked by terrorists, because we have no control over our government, or the lies that they have been telling us. And, if and when America does get it, it's going to be every man for himself anyway, because democracy will be no more, and lawlessness will reign. So, eat, drink, and be merry, because sometime in the future we may all be the targets of death from our own government, and from foreign entities.:disbelief: :lmao2: :D
