Here we go again; it’s up to the democrats in congress to put the individuals that leaked Valerie Plame name on trial in congress for treason. This would only take a couple of weeks the people have already meet the first hurdle through their own admissions in the other trials. “No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court”. If the democrats do not up hold their sworn obligation to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.
First, what is treason? Treason happens to be the only crime that is explicitly defined in the Constitution. Article 3, Section 3 states:
Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
The Congress shall have power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.
