That doesn't make any more sense than it did last time you posted it. Not everyone wants government involved in their lives Mike, they want to be free to live their lives as they see fit as long as they don't hurt others. Fascists like yourself want to end that freedom, you can't expect them to be OK with it.

Lek I said, it doesn't make any sense in reference to Libertarians. It's great fascist propaganda though, i will give that. "Turn over all your freedom to government, or this is what will happen."

Get rid of government and put everything into the hands of citizens and Somalia will happen.

I agree, and so do Libertarians, that is why they are not for no government.

You do realize that there are many difference types of Libertarians?

Fine. Then you realize some do believe that all government is bad.

Regardless, even the more moderate Libertarians are never going to be more than 2 percent in the real world.

Which again, is part of the libertarian movement...and with libertarians...you will die from the fire because the private fire departments will be too busy fighting over who gets your contract.

I tried having a well thought out conversation with you but you gave up. Don't tell me you forgot because I kept reminding you to jump back on the thread.

Gee, Libertarians first priority is to tear down fire departments. My God there really is no talking to any of you.

And i replied if you recall correctly. However that didnt change my opinion about what your goals really are but of course even libertarians as a group can't even agree on anything so how are the rest of us supposed to get it?

I believe in abstract thought, creative thinking, open discussions, etc. to solve societal problems. The Libertarians platform has this unlike modern liberalism which I consider to be actually more conservative than Libertarians or classical Liberalism.

People like Mike and xav, they think things can only be achieved through government. Their one and only solution to every problem is more government.

Yawn. You people are funny.

Yes, there are people that call themselves Libertarian Anarchists. The spectrum of Libertarianism extends to hundreds of different labels and derivatives. We could discuss them, but - while some elements can be applied in the real world - no one subset has ever or will ever work. Yawn.

Big guy. I've posted miles of information on environmental, financial services (my industry) and health information as well as the random post on political philosophy. You are normally absent. Anytime you want to discuss something of real value I am open to it, but your kind doesn't normally like the moderate view of anything. If you want to explain where Libertarianism works (or even the elements you like) we're on. The meanstream Libertarian party is a joke IMO. It works on paper, it falls down the real world.

You really think biased language will lead to an open and thoughtful, discussion? I wonder how much of that information was plagiarized and not cited. lol

It is you that have it confused. Anything you agree with is common good, anything you dont...like helping out the colored folk we've been fuckin since the beginning of America..is socialism.

LOL. So there is a mysterious Libertarian fog that rolls in every election day...forcing millions of people to vote against the Ron Paul's of the world.

Possible I suppose, although the philosophy has been around a long time and received a lot of attention.

Of course, some people might actually be fine with teachers and police.

Freak.Libertarians are the free thinkers, visionaries and political pioneers of the human race...We are the future.

I am too strong of character to abandon my principles simply because they are not shared by the majority.

The tallest tree in the forest was once the tiniest sapling on the forest floor but this did not deter the sapling.

It spread it's roots and reached for the sky one inch at a time untill it broke free above the top of the forest.

Define Libertarian, would you Sir Hog?

Hog Trash

Define Libertarian, would you Sir Hog?That would vary depending on what degree of libertarian you happen to be...I define myself as a libertarian conservative.

I believe in a small constitutional government with minimal taxation, personal responsibility and freedom to live life as you see fit.

Free from government intrusion or restrictions as long as it doesnt intrude into someone elses rights and freedom.

No one should be told who to hire or what to pay them or how to operate their business or raise their children or whether they can have a clothes line in their back yard.

Property rights...I do not smoke but strongly believe the owner of a business should be the only one to decide whether his business will allow smoking or not.

If their is a market for a non-smoking bar, a wise entrepreneur will open one and if it's in damand he will make money...Let the owner and the market decide.

All drugs should be legal...I you want to shoot dope in your veins go right ahead...It's none of my business, just don't break into my house to steel your dope money.

Because if you do break into my house, as a libertarian I will have the right to own a gun and protect myself, my family and my property and I will blow your ass away.

I'm tired and am only giving you the simple basics....Google Libertarian and you can get the big picture...Their are some things even I strongly disagree with.
