Second ACORN Video Shows Workers Helping Pimp & Prostitute in Washington DC

Two ACORN officials in Baltimore were fired on Thursday after offering to help a man and a woman who posed as a pimp and prostitute to engage in child prostitution and a series of tax crimes. On Friday, another secretly shot video tape has surfaced which shows the same couple getting very similar advice from ACORN workers in Washington D.C.

The videotape was shot on July 25, and shows ACORN workers explaining to the couple how they could hide the woman's professed work in prostitution and get a loan that would help them establish a brothel.

Posing as the pimp was 25-year-old independent filmmaker James O'Keefe. 20-year-old Hannah Giles posted as the prostitute.

The video shows the couple receiving advice on how to establish the woman as the sole proprietor of a fake company to hide the nature of her business.

"She's not going to put on (the loan application) that she's doing prostitution ... she doesn't have to. You don't have to sit back and tell people what you do," said the ACORN staffer.

The ACORN worker is also shown suggesting that O'Keefe can purchase a house and then as the landlord, if ever questioned by the authorities, he could say he was unaware of the illegal business going on inside.

"[W]hen the police ask you, (tell them) you don't know where (the money is) coming from. We are looking out for you."

O'Keefe told the ACORN staffers that he has a budding political career. They suggest later that he not linger around the house in case people "put the dots together" and leave him "smeared and tarnished" by his association with his prostitute girlfriend, and state that he should keep her business "low key".

FOX News aired the video and sought comment from ACORN. A spokesman for ACORN said that the organization would need to look at the full tape and transcript before they could comment.

A day prior to the Washington DC video shooting, O'Keefe and Giles visited ACORN workers in Baltimore. Here they were told how to falsify tax forms and seek illegal benefits for 13 "very young" girls from El Salvador who they said they wanted to import as prostitutes.

Taking this comment one step further, it was mentioned by the Acorn worker to keep the activity low key because sooner or later a nosey neighbor will call Fox.

Acorn is scared of Fox. Fox was refferenced by name. That should tell anyone looking at this that Acorn knows that Fox is the only channel reporting on this and it should make all of you very sad for the state of news reporting in this country.

Nobody knows for sure. The Chairman of the Washington DC chapter, who was on Glenn Beck being interviewed about the criminal complaint her and others filed with the Justice Department, says there are over 200 smaller organizations under the ACORN umbrella; and nobody in the national leadership will allow anyone an audit of the entire network. I believe she and the financial officer also being interviewed called it a "shell game".

Your analogy doesn't make sense here.

I agree that we don't know what this organization actually does but by these 2 videos, they help people getting loans for houses. Now maybe these reporters tried at more locations and didn't succeed in getting the workers to incriminate themselves, that does not diminish what happened at the 2 locations commiting crimes.

If this happened at 1 location, I might agree that it was a rouge employee, or a group of rouge employees, because everybody that was listining are just as guilty for not saying anything about what was going on, but at 2 locations in 2 states indicates the organization, if there was no direct contact between the first group of workers and the second, is guilty of teaching the workers how to do this. It would be quite a coincidnece that 2 groups of workers from the same organization giving the same type of advise, and help to defraud the government and the bank.

At this point, without delay, the police should get the search warrants to raid these 2 locations and investigate all people that were helped by these 2 groups of people. I am sure they will find a ton of bank fraud and tax fraud on the people this organization helped. If the people could get a loan straight up, they wouldn't need to go to Acorn.

I can understand how it happened.

When the guy was working on the ammendment to require proof of citizenship that got voted down by the democrats, I am sure he went in to hear the speech wound up and was just waiting for that line about the undocumented immigrants and he couldn't control himself.

It has happened to me. You get yourself worked up and the line was the trigger. I can't get upset about it because it has happened before on the other side, and even by this sitting president. I don't see it as a big deal.

No, he shouldn't be held responsible for every smuck that is hired somewhere. But, he can be responsible for his own actions and judgements. And in the past, judging from the people he chose to align himself with, he should be judged on those. It was obvious he used poor judgement.
