I don't get blogs.

I really fucking don't. Someone sets up a blog....

Blog - it sounds fucking stupid already. Blog... blog. What a fucking stupid name.

Anyway, here's that... blog. Someone decides to ramble on about something. Anything. 3 or 4 paragraphs of someone menstruating their fucking opinion, on and on.

Who fucking cares?

Who sits there and reads blogs? Like anybody can be glued to some random fucks opinion. At least with message boards, you can interact. Like this jerkoff's opinion is something special, and mine isn't. This asswipe has a blog. That validates his or her opinion.

Fuck off.

Yeah, I know - some blogs.... blog.... anyway, some blogs have spots where you can leave a message. Big fucking deal, I'm one reaction of many. And you have to wait a fucking week until that jackass gets back to you - if he ever does.

If I'm digging around and I see blogs, fuck it. I move on.

Blogs are OK, if you love reading other ppls ramblings.

I can at least understand that.

Twitter is the one that gets me.

TWEET: " I'm now going to take a dump"

next TWEET: " My shit looked kinna funny today"

follower TWEET : " can you decribe your shit for me"

ad nauseum.

Personally, what's the attraction reading about how some strangers day went and whether his poop looked strange? I don't get it. That sure keeps the level of the conversation down in the shitter......:lmao2:

So we already have our first blog that was posted for us to read about how stupid it is to read blogs???:lmao2:

:hi:

Will there be a follow up..........???

This may make a good topic for us to read about If I'm digging around and I see blogs, fuck it. I move on.

I think a good first line would be something like "If your reading this you must be a fucking idiot".....

Wal Mart.

I fucking hate Wal Mart.

I live in a rural area. You need a fucking canoe to get to my town. It's all goat paths for two hours driving until you finally hit a fucking highway.

I have three kids. I buy a lot of shit. The grocery stores near me suck. Everything is stale, expensive and the place closes early every day so when I have to shop, I go to Wal Mart in the next town. In fact, there are 3 of them within an hours drive from me since Wal Mart targets smallish sized towns to suck the fucking lifeblood out of them for the sake of sales.

Since the closest mall to me is 2.5 hours drive, I'm stuck buying a lot of my shit at one of those Wal Marts. Pulling into the parking lot gives me the first indication that I will be in a shitty mood for the next couple hours. No fucking spots where you wouldn't need to take a fucking cab to the store from. Finding a spot, I hike to the front door trying to not get run over by some fucking soccer mom in a minivan yacking on her fucking cell phone while she's wagon-training looking for a spot to park.

Get in the store and there it is. The screaming baby. Every fucking Wal Mart has at any given time a fucking screaming baby. Usually the parents are ignoring that kid while it throws a fucking tantrum. The old guy pushes a cart my way, we engage.

By 'we', it's me and my wife. She's miserable because I'm miserable, otherwise she'd be relatively content. I don't let her go herself, she'll come home with a truck load of shit we don't need.

Now I get sucked into the whole Wal Mart experience. Everything's cheap, the urge to stockpile stuff is strong, just like in that South Park episode. These plastic tumblers would be great for the deck, huh? "Let's get some, they're only .50 apiece. Look - 5lbs of ground beef, only $5. Kids like sloppy joe, stock up. How about a fan for the family room. Take the stuffiness out, only $12." After all's said and done, we have so much fucking shit, I can't fit it into the back of my full sized truck. My fucking 5yr old is riding home with a 12 pack of toilet paper in his lap. Total bill? A cool grand.

We get home and it takes us 2 fucking hours to unload all of this shit. Freezer is full and we have 20lbs of meat that still needs frozen. We're eating steak every day of the week, I guess.

Here's the good part. Those tumblers? Look great, right? After one load in the dishwasher, they fucking crack. Straight to the garbage. That ground beef? Go to make sloppy joe and the ground beef has all this weird shredded rubber material in it. There's $20 down the tubes, straight in the rubbish. That fan? Stops running after a week. To the dump.

Store brand almonds, rancid. Same with the store brand applesauce and frozen veggies - too many fucking stems.

Now I still shop there because I have to. Not much other choice, but I don't buy the generic stuff anymore or anything like fans or gadgets. It's all fucking garbage. Somewhere, some fucking eco-nazi group needs to get on this. Want to stop our landfills from overfilling? Stop Wal Mart from selling all the crap that they do which immediately winds up in one. I don't buy anything there that's not brand name or something I have had problems with - like paint. I bought some off-brand paint there to paint the kitchen. Just recently too, got sucked into the 'good deal' thing again. Took 3 fucking coats.

We don't buy meat or fruits and vegetables there, we drive to the big grocery store an hour and a half away for those, or get them in town. That is for now, until those places get sucked into the black hole of Wal Mart's quest to overpopulate our landfills.

Fuck Wal Mart.

This is why NYC won't have one of the fucking things in city limits. Well they would, but you have to use union labor to build them and that is the last thing those fucks at Wal-Mart want, any hint of union. Vermont doesn't even allow Wally in the state, good enough reason to move there. Fuck WalMart, I hope Sam is burning in hell!

Pardon me while I have a great :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: . Holy Gomoneti! For once, someone is voicing the same feelings I have about that place. We have one in our town. A small northern town, set between two major expressways..... About five smaller towns, are within 20-30 miles of MY town.

We have a Kmart, Walmart and a kazillios smaller stores. Alongwith the usual drug and grocery stores. My point is, WE ARE LIMITED ON SHOPPING IN THIS DAMN TOWN. As is in most small towns, so we have a huge influx of people from other towns, here on a continual basis, JUST TO SHOP AT FUCKING WALMART. GRRRRR! I hate that store. It seems like it has gotten more and more people shopping there, and on any given day of the week you can see loads of KNUCKLE DRAGGER NEANDERTHALS s..l..o..w..l..y moving around the store, getting their asses in the way. They appear to be straight out of the dinasaur era with IQs to match. UGH!

I hate having to go into that store and am thankful I'm not a shop-a-holic, because it drives me nuts to enter that place. But, since it's the larger store of the two and no other large stores here, like that, there isn't a lot of choice but to enter on occasion to get what you need. Unless you feel like driving an hour or two away to a city.... Which I prefer not to do...

My town is a tourist town. So there are lots of times throughout the year, that we will see these damn knuckle draggers meandering around with their heads half in and half out of their asses.... Brings on the visions of caveman days....:banghead:

I'm not a redneck, but I have redneck tendencies. I hunt, fish and chew snuff. Drink a lot of beer, like football and own a lot of guns. Yeah, classic redneck - but I fucking hate NASCAR, that keeps me from crossing that line.

Trailer trash, that's what you get at Wal Mart. Mostly, and some normal people trying to get out of there without their kids getting too much "culture".

We have a little game that helps us keep our sanity when we're there - we count the hicks. If someone is either: a) wearing a hat with fishing license attached, b) has a tatoo (a trashy one), c) walks with a cane when it looks like they don't need one, d) has their wallet secured to their belt loop with a chain e) sports a mullet (or skullet - two points for that) or f) wearing a t-shirt with either NASCAR or WWF on it - that's a point.

Actually, K, some bad news, Vermont has one now, but they had to jump through multiple hoops to do it (Williston, in the "Big Box" zone) And now they are trying to strong arm their way into the northern part of the state, and they are seeing some strong resistance...But yeah, Fuck 'em, fuck 'em hard!

When I go to Walmart, I tend to make as quick a trip out of it as possible, therefore, I most always go alone. And I don't take my grandkids with me as they would slow me down and make the torture of being in that place worse and longer.

When I have to go, I'm on a mission to get in, get my crapola, and get out. I don't like to meander around looking at this chinese crap or stroll on over to eyeball other chinese crap. In and out. I could prob'ly hold the worlds record on that, if I tried hard enough and moved even faster. :lmao2:

I blame Wal-Mart and all these box stores on women. (At least that's what I tell my wife.) If it wasn't for their unrelenting desire to shop these stores wouldn't exist.

What happened to the good old days before women were allowed to have driver's licenses and mini-vans and learned how to cut out coupons.

In the "good old days" all we had was the General Store. There we could buy our food, guns, ammo, hardtack, boots, tobaccy, whiskey and all the essential stuff us guys needed. Back then WE got to make the grocery lists.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO AMERICA!!!!!!

Now you can even buy stuff online. What's with that?

We have lost control, WE ARE DOOMED!

What's up with that is greed. That desease has consumed this country. I'm not a shop-a-holic. In fact, I only do it when necessary. And I hate it. I can't stand the feeling that the other shoppers give me, like they are trying to push me out of the way, so they can spend their money faster.

And I'm sure you are right about the big box stores. They figured it out that women hold the money strings, for the most part, so they made it even more convenient for them all to pop in and break out the credit cards. No frills. Only shopping thrills. UGH! I just don't have the need to fill a huge void in myself with material goods, so why bother going shopping if I don't have to?

The rules here are fucking stupid.

Not the actual rules, mind you - the administration of them.

I don't get it. Maybe the moderation here is fucking lacking. Maybe the rules here are used by mods to piss off people they don't politically agree with and for everyone else it's ok.

It's like driving down a stretch of road. Two fucking lanes, no houses or businesses or schools or shit like that but the speed limit is 25. God bless you if you're going 25 because everyone else around you is doing fucking 60, you might get fucking rammed from behind doing the limit. Either increase the fucking limit or enforce it.

Maybe it's me. I like being a good fucking citizen. I see a rule, I try to follow it. I'm not fucking perfect, I stray - but I make an honest fucking effort. That's what pisses me off about rules that are bullshit. What the fuck is the sense of following the rules or doing the fucking speed limit if nobody else is?

Let's break it down.

Rule #1 - No racial, gender, ethnic or sexual orientation slurs.

Fine, I get that for the most part. The part I'm not quite sure about is the use of the word "cunt" which is one of my favorite terms. Great fucking word - "cunt". Pisses off the fucking lightweights and it's one of those fucking words that is fairly taboo. Cunt! I figure someone will point it out since it's not clear in the rules.

Anyway, someone uses the term "faggot" in a post. A mod suggests the inappropriateness of that term and requests that said term not be used in the context it was used. Groovy. Looks like the rules are being enforced.

Then I find this:

As usual - you're a gay ass-fuck.

What part of the governor and the mayor got out post-haste (fact) do you have difficulty swallowing, cum-gurgler?

'Tis a documented fact - ass fucker.

Hmm. Looks like this guy gets special treatment. Can't be because he's been a regular around here for some time now and the guy who used the term "faggot" was fairly new.

Maybe the mods didn't see it yet. Yeah, that's the fucking ticket.

So let me test this theory. I look around and - lo and behold, a thread titled:

We now have a racist latino bitch making decisions in the highest court in the land

Wow. This also seems to have broken rule #1. Maybe the mods haven't seen this one yet also. What's that you say? This thread is almost a month old? And... and it's by who? A longtime regular?

Uncanny.

There are some other fucking examples, but I think I've made my point. It's all about integrity. If you're going to make a fucking rule then enforce that fucking rule and do it across the board.

Otherwise, if everyone's ignoring the rules that aren't being enforced - fuck it, I'm doing 60 also.

Conservatives suck.

I consider myself a "conservative". Fiscal conservative, social moderate. Probably the most accurate description.

I fucking hate using that term. All of the sudden I'm a rushbot or some fucking Beck clone. Here's where I want to distance myself. Mostly because those guys are entrepreneurs, and there's nothing wrong with that - I'm all for it, but think about it. These guys are selling a fucking product. Yeah, I might agree with some of the shit they say, but it stops there. No fucking way am I subscribing to their ideology in place of mine.

It's a fucking contest. Like the fucking Hatfield's and McCoy's. Hatfield lobs a fucking rock, breaks a window. McCoy swings a shovel. Hatfield returns with a hatchet while McCoy goes for the musket. That's our political ideology - go as fucking far out on either end of the fucking spectrum to offset the other.

Fiscal conservative - what the fuck does that mean? The way I define it, I'm for a balanced budget (who fucking isn't?), small government (which rules out the O'bama and his predecessor) and freemarkets. In a nutshell. Social moderate, that's the tricky part. It's always the social aspect of politics that fucks everything up. Abortion, I'm way against it. Not because I'm a religious person, I'm the least religious. Fuck the religious right, they're the western version of al Quaida IMO, and that's a whole other issue. I'm against abortion for humanitarian reasons and I'll leave it at that for now. Gays? I don't care either way. What you do in your own privacy is none of my business, as long as I don't have it jammed down my throat. I'd like to take my kid to the St. Patrick's Day parade without having a fucking political display going on. He's fucking 5yrs old - give me a fucking break already. As long as you're doing whatever you're doing and it's: a) consensual, b) not breaking any law, and c) not with a minor or incapacitated then go for it. Knock yourself the fuck out, and do it in private. I don't want to see, hear, smell it in any way.

Global warming, now there's another fucking political debate. I buy into it, a lot of rushbots don't. Fuckum, you don't have zero impact on the environment when a planet this size experiences a population and industrial growth that suddenly occurs in a fucking cunt hair fragment of it's existence. But yet there's a debate. For Christ's sake - even GW acknowledges global warming as an issue, but you still hear these fucking dicks arguing against it.

Whatever.

Problem is, there's too much political opinion on the airwaves. Nobody can fucking think for themselves anymore. Listen in, get a fucking hard on, pass it along, rinse, repeat.

Maybe people are afraid to buck the system. They put a fucking badge on their sleeve. "I'm a conservative", and suddenly you can't push anywhere out of that fucking box. Fuck that, I don't give a fucking rats ass if I'm pissing off fellow conservatives - in fact, I hope I am. Fuck - I just labeled myself. "Fellow conservatives".

We are a doomed society as long as we continue to polarize ourselves in this manner, and I say that in a long-run sense. We are fat, lazy and unable to think for ourselves - as a whole.

I just don't fucking get it.

I don't think there is to much opinion on the airwaves but I do agree ppl need to start thinking for themselves... Form their own "informed opinions"...

These voices & many more can be utilized as tools to form these opinions & conclusions.... If used incorrectly they can be dangerous & result in what I have in my signature this week:

One act & two sets of measure, one for my enemy & another for my friend..

One I defend & the other I condemn..

One can do no right & the other no wrong..

Seeing or hearing/listening to only one side of any argument on radio, tv etc can result in incomplete & likely wrong conclusions...

I have to respectfully disagree, and I do appreciate your opinion.

Seems like there's a handful of free thinkers here, you're one of them.

Anyway, I disagree with your position about there not being too much political opinion on the airwaves. My stance is purely on the demand side. Guys like Rush, Beck - rattle them all off, they're going fucking gangbusters because there's a demand for their product.

You can see the results just by perusing this fucking forum. People dig that shit, they tune in and buy the whole fucking boat, motor and trailer. And you can see it in the replies. Suddenly, my conservatism is being fucking trashed because I'm thinking out of the box.

I'm fine with that, but it's the whole moral of my position. If these fucktards want to be Rush zombies and fucking march in line with anything he says and go to war against anyone who thinks otherwise, whatever.

Same shit happens on the lefty side. Fucking O'bama gets out there and yells "CHANGE" and all the fucking sheep go running to the fucking voting booth. It's almost a casual attitude, fucking laziness - nobody wants to do the fucking mental homework. They want it fucking pre-packaged and to go.

It just goes to show how fucking gullible we've become as a society.

I have to respectfully disagree, and I do appreciate your opinion.

Seems like there's a handful of free thinkers here, you're one of them.

Anyway, I disagree with your position about there not being too much political opinion on the airwaves. My stance is purely on the demand side. Guys like Rush, Beck - rattle them all off, they're going fucking gangbusters because there's a demand for their product.
.

:)

Perhaps I need to make myself more clear here....

I am referring to range of arguments & ideas not to volume....

There is certainly enough volume.... Mostly saying & arguing the same things & points... What is lacking in diversity is made up in sure volume...

So in essence the problem is one of limiting the debate & subjects... We are to discuss what they want us to talk about & w/in the parameters w/ which they want them discussed...>>> FUCK THEM!!!!!!

One perfect example was the BS leading up to war.... All those shows had on paid "experts" all the arguments were about war, what kinda war, when, who etc.. NONE OF THEM HAD ON A PEACENIK to talk about things other than going to war...

The debate/consent was manufactured...

Procter & Gamble, SHell oil & GE can not buy off everyone... More voices, more folks talking outside the box...........

Thats what I'm talking about.......... :D

Lot of fucking wisdom there Captain.

You know you're beliefs, you know we're on an unsubstainable course of debt, and loss of jobs.
All that matters on the economics, in basic terms.

we're so freaking desperate, that we're putting everything into green jobs
because WE CAN"T COMPETE w/ 3rd world countries.

I dunno man. I look around and say
" what happened to this wonderful prosperous, indutrious nation I recall as a kid?"

I got no answers or solutions, I'm just glad I got to ride in the America ride when it was at the top, cause we're on a bottonless path.

My answer?: " OH FUCKING WELL *shrugs* I gotta go eat some prunes, and get my fiber in me"

Not that I don't care, but this land is so screwed up, it's like a giant knot that will never be untangled.

Good luck kids!! Here's your bill from the boomers - you're born in debt !

Unfortunately, America has been on a "me, me, me" course for decades. And now it's on a "handout, handout, handout" one. It has turned its head towards Uncle Sam and asked that he reach out and fulfill our every need, since we seem to be incapable of thinking and doing for ourselves. We beg for more handouts. And gasp out our thanks while rushing ever so quickly to make use of them. We have become a nation of money grubbing needy people that looks at each new day as another opportunity to swindle yet more money and perks from each other. (taxpayers)

Isn't the idea of socialized medicine a "handout".

Now that's what a lot of the voting populace thinks it is which is why it gets general support. In reality, the reform - if it ever happens might wind up being some sort of half-baked program to further federally funded medicine.

Which is the liberal plan anyway - to increase control and dependence on the government, not to better the healthcare system.

So if medicine is a handout then why not police & fire protection???

SO if you ppl want them to have a handout you want them to have a big one...

The kid falls off his bike & cuts his knee he could go to the clinic & get it patched up for $150 in 15 mins but you would rather he go to the ER for fours @ a cost - to us- of about $3,500.............

I would think a smart capitalist would see that as stupid but I also guess a stupid would see it as making sense.....

In a somewhat privatized health insurance system, yes - I think it's a handout. At least in some supporters eyes, that was my point.

Creating a single payer system because of ER abuse is called wag the dog.

De-unionize the police and fire departments, privatize them and I can virtually guarantee that they'll operate better. Hell, why stop there - add the post office to the mix. Even the O'bama agrees that Fed Ex does a better job.

We already have a federally funded insurance program for the indigent, it's called Medicaid.

Fix Medicaid.

But like I said, insuring the un or underinsured isn't the issue. The issue is expanding government programs which will in turn expand dependency on government.

Oh stop. No "I care and you don't" card playing.

You can give that a rest. I don't think anybody on the planet doesn't want coverage for those who truly can't afford it. What some of us like me don't want is a huge bureaucracy designed so that freeloaders can take advantage of it.

And that kind of program is ok with liberals, freeloaders are their biggest supporters.

That assumes the house is worth keeping.... There is 47,000,000 w/out care... We as a ppl pay far, far more & get nothing more for it......... (In fact we get less............ far less)

Sure some benefit & others suffer....

IMO that is not a house worth keeping...

I know you are fully aware what will happen in as little as 10 years if this is not dealt w/.....

Everyone else pays less, lives longer & covers all their ppl & it works. It will here to........ Sorry if that is not part of your plan but that is what will happen... Sooner or later....

Apparently not enough backlash since millions are wanting gov't health care. Anyway, a major portion of America has still become so me oriented it's sickening. Selfish and oblivious as to what is going on around them.....

(taxpayers)I agree except for one thing Binky...Many people no longer beg for more handouts, they demand them.

The politicians pander to these looser bums for their votes by creating more taxpayer funded, government handouts.

You can always tell who the looser bums are who want the freebies and who the taxpayers are that will be responsible for paying the bills.

The ones who vote for the politicians who promise the freebies are the looser bums and the ones who don't are the working class taxpayers.

This is the danger of socialist programs...Once politicians learn that they can buy votes for promises of "freebies", it snowballs into a catastrophy.

That is the point we have now reached...It must be stopped and reversed or the America as we know it is doomed...Socialism is only temporary.

As Karl Marx fortold....Socialism is the transition stage between capitalism and communism...That is what the marxist have had in mind for us all along.

No need to argue with you as you are correct. There are two classes of people, those that have and those that want it. It looks as thought those that have will be giving it to those that want it.

When you stop and think about socialism, marxism etc. it really isn't that far of a stretch between socialism and communism. Once a country becomes socialists, a mere time span of 20 years could see it as then a communist one.

I think it's helpful to look for what we want in reform.

Evryone wants costs control, when health care costs greatly exceed any inflation %'s per year.

Streamlined billing. Companies that are really insurance companies, that actulay MIGHT NOT make a profit that quarter for unforseem cliams;
but can't raise thelong term rates forever to make sure they make yet more profits, in case of another loss.

Standards and practices - all companies should have to provide minimum basic standards of coverage.
Those that control costs are able to be more competative.

Someway to get the uninsured covered.
Manadtes might help for those eligible for Medicade, but don't sign up.

No rejection of preconditions, but are able to charge a higher price for a new client with cosrtly treatment probable.

I alsways though the idea of preventive free clinics for those who lack the ability to pay, for routine care.
It's amazing what a simple blood test and presciptions, and lifestyle recommendation can be done quickly.
The basic care is cheaper in a clinic setting.
It could replace public option, and individual policy mandates.

Cross state competition, where the states would be forced to allow companies to offer their plans, whether they meet state standadrs - again unified standards of practices.
