As I've said here many times, the real plan for Iraq has always been, never to leave until the oil has been drained.
Now, Bush is saying this explicitly and openly.

That's why our giant bases and fortified embassy (both bases and embassy the most modern and largest in the world) are being built on time and on budget.
Get used to it guys - in order to get the oil, we have to stay there. If we leave, china gets the oil.
So there's gonna be work for soldiers for some time to come.
