If Wal-Mart were in charge of educating the majority of Americans would we not question it when these students become consumers and seemed to be a little too likely to choose Wal-Mart for their shopping needs.

Same with government. As we become increasingly dependent on government, is it not time to question the fact that the people who are responsible for our education are the same ones who are all too eager to take our freedom from in exchange for promises of safety and comfort?

I think people have been questioning that exact issue since the federal government started their new "No Child Left Behind" program. Well that and all the money that's been funnelled to Dubya's brother.

It would be good industry to privatize, but the teacher's unions would never allow the politicians to do it.
