It's just incredible. This astroturf 'movement' Big Insurance/Dick Armey are fomenting really makes my point.
Everywhere you turn, from cable 'news show' to radio broadcasts, to MSM 'coverage' in the print media - there they are.....BIG FAT LIES from these low-information useless citizens. I have no idea what health care reform bill they're referencing every day. In the real world, it doesn't exist. These people are so friggin' gullible it's truly embarrassing.
I say facts have a liberal bias because whenever liberals attempt to inject some actual facts into whatever discussion, these clueless wingers viciously attack the facts with more lies, end of conversation.
Check it out - this scenario plays out all day long, year after year, decade after decade.
This country is screwed as long as these troglodytes exist. I don't know what the answer is - doubt there is one.
It's pointed out very often. Senior keeps posting actual stats for it while Wayne and a few others made it very clear in a thread about ACORN.

10-4, Moby. Makes sense this solemn truth has been covered here.
I can think of a few so-called liberals suffering from this pathological lying disorder (PLD). Clinton avoided facts (lied) when discussing Mr Happy's exploits under oath. Teddy the K probably wasn't exactly truthful (lied) about that horrific night on the Vinyard. And Obama portrayed himself as a truly progressive politician during the campaign, which is looking more and more inaccurate (a lie).
Having said all that - EVERY G'DAMN REPUBLICAN IN EXISTENCE LIES FROM THE TIME HE PUTS ON HIS DRAWERS IN THE MORNING UNTIL HE STAGGERS BACK TO BED THAT NIGHT.
WTH?

Then the Republicans, when confronted with inconvenient facts like "no wmd's", "Hussein was not affiliated with those who attacked us", climate change ........ and ....... health care then switch to Ad hominem (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominen) like Senior Chief responses.
Their crying makes one want to use ones Second Amendment rights to protect grandma from being executed by the Republicans profiteering insurance companies. I know some 40-60 year olds with chronic conditions living paycheck, medical care to paycheck because they have preexisting conditions and are no longer considered profitable......

DAMN RIGHT! These spoiled liberal punks graduating from ivy league schools are clueless wingers!!! All that crap about journalism! Then a TV network pays them humongus bucks to tell "BIG FAT LIES from these low-information useless citizens....like, like Sarah Palin ....attack the facts with more lies.... We should take these bastards out for America!!!!! permanently.:banghead:

Facts don't have a liberal bias,
Liberals are sensibly, sanely biased towards the facts.
Not by superstitious, religious voodoo & other rightwing lie-propaganda.
The right wants to battle for tyranny of melodramatic imaginations,
Liberals want things that correlate to actual reality.
Brainless passion on the right,
Logical dispassion on the left.
I have a passionate, desperate devotion to logical, dispassionate sanity,
& will use every flamethrower tactic i can come up with to fight the suicidal, murderous, treacherous right insanity.

What is funny is everyone believes their opinions and views are "facts" and the other sides are "lies".

Because they are. period.
They operate on faith & blind, false patriotism,
rather than on science & evidentiary based facts.
they are irrational, & i must have an irrational commitment to rational, sane discourse, once we get past their inflammation.

Both sides spread misinformation and have plenty of studies and stats with spun numbers to back their side. What is funny is how everyone thinks their BS is fact and everyone else's is "lies". Everyone here regurgitates the same Repub and dem talking points and then proclaims them as facts.
Take the health care thing. Anytime someone says something against it, its supporters come back and say they have never read it so they are lying. Well the person saying this has never read it either, they are doing the exact same thing the other person did, rely on their shepherds to give them the "facts" which are complete BS on both sides.
Left: "We will all die if we don't enact some sort of UHC plan."
Right: "If we enact some sort of UHC plan we will all die.
All of you are incredibly stupid or just massive sheep.
Here are some facts:
Government is too big and too bloated.
Government is currently running massive deficits as it is.
Big Government programs always end up in the red and become fiscally insolvent.
These are real facts that cannot be disputed by anyone except the most loyal of Big Government sheep.

Faith, a defined LACK OF EVIDENCE, is their banner.
A Psychotic, barbarian 'God' is their allegiance, & their allegiance is NOT to America, or fact or logic, both of which serve America over superstition.
Simply put they are religious based traitors, period.
They are irrational nut cases by their own admission.
not that they & anyone else is not capable of using distorted information & flat out lies to attempt to deceive those who are still available to some amount of rational discourse.

Yet how many people have unfounded faith in government. Governmetn constantly fails, constantly let's us down. Yet despite all observation evidence, people want more government, more big government programs. Big Government is a religion that requires some of the strongest faith out there.

True, much better to worship Goldman Sachs, GE and CitiGroup. Spot on.

I don't worship them or government. I think for myself. All of those companies you listed can never take 1 dollar from you unless they use the power of government to take it by force, which many have.

If we cut you off from all government services, would that do it for ya?
Of course, if that were to happen....
you get robbed/mugged/burglarized/assaulted/slandered - too bad, deal with it.
your house catches on fire - put it out yourself, quit complaining.
you want to mail a letter? - great, get in your car and drive to UPS or FedEx.
don't like those potholes in the street? - get out your shovel, slackard.
wish you had a public park or library for the kids? - too bad, crybaby.
losing your health from eating contaminated food? - what, too cheap to hire a food taster?
enjoy watching those NASA shuttle launches? - write NASA a HUGE check if you wish to see more.
kres - if you haven't already thought of this - wouldn't you be better off living on a self-contained compound in Idaho or Utah? You could even make your own money!
I hate to see freedom-lovers of your caliber suffer so. There's GOT to be an answer in all this, huh?

Who said no government? Your idea that because we have police it is OK to have a totalitarian state, is beyond insane. A lot of what you mentioned here we could do without government though, and should.

Your idea that because we have police it is OK to have a totalitarian state, is beyond insane. ............and your idea that removing the for-profit corporate poison element from our 'health care system' is gub'mint fascism, is way beyond insane.
And what gub'mint services would you like to do without?.....please, when answering that, try for once in your life to consider the lives of your fellow countrymen, not just your own self-centered little world.
If you're really this antisocial, I suggest you move to that compound I referenced earlier. Every man for himself - YEEEE HAAAAWWWWW!!!

I did? Well, ok, but not at all sure how you deduced that.
Check this out - one of my favorite timeless quotes from Lee Hung Jite:
“The greatest lesson I have learned in my plunge into the political debate has been how little things change. We seem to always be going where we’ve already been. The three political issues at work since the first tribe had their first meeting are still with us; who will be included, what those included responsibilities and benefits are, and how best to screw those not included.”

In your world if the majority can make their lives easier and better by inconveniencing the minority, because its what's best for the majority, then they should be free to do so. Not a world I want to live in.

Don't know where you got that from. I'm not a corporate shill or a Republican/oligarch. Just so happens the liberals/progressives/Democrats are the ones known for protecting minority rights. You're about 180 off on that one.
Where did you get the idea I support the rights of the majority over the rights of the minority?
