That's fine as long as the disagreement pertains to the topic.

Quite often, as in the welcome pg thread, the disagreements have nothing to do with the thread topic. It gets to be a pain in the ass for those who are trying to have a discussion.

This isn't really a rule...just a suggestion. It makes sense. Why dredge up a shitfest to hash out old grudges in the middle of a good discussion? It seems easy enough to start a thread. Maybe they should have a shitfest forum?
