I guess you have jet skied before.. It is a lot of fun.....

I was jet skiing a few months ago on the Sacramento river...

You know, in addition to not ever riding a motorcycle, I have never jet skied.

I had a boat on the Chesapeake Bay for years and access to jet skies but never did it.

Part of me actually used to hate their zipping and zapping all over the place.

But I have to do that soon.

LOL........ Yea lots of boaters hate them.......... The O' fogies in the boats & the wild youngsters out hot dogging it..........lol

I was out about two weeks ago on the same river w/ a friend in his boat... He was talking them down pretty hard......lol

They do zip around, launching off your wake & are not aware of the rules or courtesies..... You see it alot @ the launches were they think they can just cut in......... Well usually not more then once anywayz......

You would love it. It is like the best of both worlds.... A motorcycle on water...

It's your head, not mine.

Anybody who rides consistently knows that at any spit second you could put that bike down. Watching the road has nothing to do with it.

Experienced riders say that. Stupid fucking kids that don't know shit say what you just said.

Make sure your life insurance is paid up. You said you had a kid. He might need that money if he's ever going to college while you're 6' under or in an irreversible coma because you're a fucking shithead.

My niece and her friend slammed into a car illegally turning into its driveway last month and both were thrown from the motorcycle. They were both wearing helmets, but when their heads slammed onto the pavement from the impact, the helmets flew off. The guy received a broken hand and burns from the asphalt, and my niece came away with a big chunk out of her heel which needed 12 stitches, and some bumps and abrasions. If not for the helmets, there would have been a different ending.

Here in Mi we have the helmet law...Gotta wear it when out riding. We also have to wear seat belts...which I hate, but wear anyway. Now just out of habit if for no other reason.

I hate seat belts too, because they make me feel trapped and the strap rubs against my neck. I used to take the cross over part off and leave on the lap belt, but I bought one of those soft fuzzy things you put over the belt to keep it from rubbing your neck raw :D

I used to be a stubborn fool and wouldn't wear them until one day, my daughter was on her lunch break from college, and she got rammed pretty badly in an accident. She had on her seat belt and was left with a huge strap mark up and down the front of her. Had she not been wearing one, she'd have gone thru the window. From that day forward, the seat belt goes on. No ifs, ands or buts. It's there. Uncomfortable or not, we have become one......

the lawyers make a distinction between homicide and murder.

Homicide is death by another. Murder is intent to do harm.

I think it could very easily be murder though. In the first degree. A crime of passion.

I think Michael pissed the doctor off.

A stolen car doing at leat 70 mph was aimed right at me.

I didn't have belts on. I just had time to scramble over the center console, and make it to the passengers seat.

WHAM the stolen car T-boned into on the drivers side.

It literally bent the car into a v shape as it plowed thru my drivers compartment.

In the final episode, Number 6 becomes the new Number 1, then escapes the underground control center of The Village with the old Number 2 and Number 48; machine-gunning The Watchers, with the jukeboxes in the tunnels playing "All You Need is Love". Actually the song played a couple times during the finale.

Obtuse allegory about a surreal 1984 police state with "A Clockwork Orange" motif and an eccentric rebellious lead character: Patrick McGoohan.

I did not get that he was Number 1 from the beginning.

I remember that this show was so bizarre that you could not watch it high.

It would fuck your high up. You had to watch it straight.

It was actually hidden until the end. But that was the basis of part of the symbolism.

Where am I?

In the Village.

What do you want?

Information.

Whose side are you on?

That would be telling. We want information. Information. Information.

You won't get it.

By hook or by crook, we will.

Who are you?

The new Number Two.

Who is Number One?

You are Number Six.

I am not a number- I am a free man!

In other words, the system is trying to conform you into an element of itself. Therefore, you have to maintain your individuality above all else. You must be Number One, or the system will absorb you.

Ah, "Rover"

There's still a mystery surrounding Rover. In the final episode, the underground Watchers were encircled around Rover; as if religiously communing with the entity.

There are many hidden meanings in the allegories of certain episodes. Like in "The Girl Who Was Death", in which a children's bedtime story involved a lighthouse actually being a rocket designed to destroy London - the rocket reappeared in the finale, as the chamber housing Number One. The launching of which destroyed Rover under the exhaust plume; as The Village was evacuated.

To this day, people are still interpreting the meaning of some elements in the series. But it was pure genius. Created by Patrick Mcgoohan himself, after his role in Secret Agent; involving the resignation of a secret agent and his kidnapping and imprisonment in the Village - kind of a surrealistic continuation of the same character. The system refusing to let him go.

Some things never match the quality of the original. IMO, the 60s version of The Prisoner was way ahead of it's time, for people to fully appreciate. I guess we'll know in November if the remake is any good at all.

Rock-and-rollers are stale when they're no longer young and angry, because that's their edge. Sure, the Stones are still great guys and good musicians, playing their old standards, but really - their new stuff? It sucks. What do they have to say to me? I just don't understand how anyone can HATE Eman.
