taking calls from all the nasty assholes, who are too timid to kick their dogs,
so they call me and gotta act " just shut up and tell me the price".

still haven't figured that one out yet, but i fouund out my Windows Vista"Defender" ( firewall, malware remover, anti-virus)
had turned itself off, when i dowloaded Adaware to clean out any spyware.

Today I start on the phone, and my phone dies on me -lost a call,
and we get CLOSELY rated.
They call in an say " i'll call back in 5 minutes after i get off the shitter", and I loose a sale. :banghead:

If they hang up, no-one on line - that's the same as a " no sale"
Too many no sales, and you don't get calls as frequently.

I'm paid by time on the phone -not hourly wage, and I get bonuses of $1-$4 per sale, depending on the program ( product).

I literally handle hundreds of products - i have to know them all, as the call router justs shoots whatever product caller to the best rated operator available.

So I had a spare phone, missed a scheduled 1/2 hour ( that affects call volume too) -
and now the 'puer is kinna slow loading my appeletts( Java pop-ups)
but i'm too freaking worn out to deal with it anymore today.
started at 6AM.

Tomorrow ( weekends) are heavy call volume, so i'm not gona mess with it today,
and get thru tomorrow till Monday - my day off and ge this shit straightened out.

Today I start on the phone, and my phone dies on me -lost a call,
and we get CLOSELY rated.
They call in an say " i'll call back in 5 minutes after i get off the shitter", and I loose a sale. :banghead:

If they hang up, no-one on line - that's the same as a " no sale"
Too many no sales, and you don't get calls as frequently.

I'm paid by time on the phone -not hourly wage, and I get bonuses of $1-$4 per sale, depending on the program ( product).

I literally handle hundreds of products - i have to know them all, as the call router justs shoots whatever product caller to the best rated operator available.

So I had a spare phone, missed a scheduled 1/2 hour ( that affects call volume too) -
and now the 'puer is kinna slow loading my appeletts( Java pop-ups)
but i'm too freaking worn out to deal with it anymore today.
started at 6AM.

Tomorrow ( weekends) are heavy call volume, so i'm not gona mess with it today,
and get thru tomorrow till Monday - my day off and ge this shit straightened out.

Best one can do is to be as polite as possible, say thanks and that you are sorry you bothered them. Then move on to the next one. Not everyone is nasty. Many are very nice and just lonely. It gives them a chance to talk to someone, not really caring that you have a job to do and don't know them. Actually, I found it rather sad.... and for the most part, when they said to call back I did and they would donate. Still.........that did not make me like yappin' on the phone any better.

We got paid by the call as well, but I would work for only half the day, rather than the entire time. Worked out well for me other than I just hated that damn yappin'...... I'm a face to face person. I like talkin' to someone personally, or even just sending emails, that sort of thing. Just not phone crapola...UGH!!!!!

4 hours of housecleaning ( company last night) tossed the cat out for an hour. did all my push up,45 minute walk/jog and stretching ,
and i'm getting better on my Tai Chi though it is a bit ragged, and not fluid yet.

Only had 2 lessons, but it brings back muscle memories, from the short time i did Kempo ( even though tai-chi is completely opposite - soft syle)
it's easy on the joints, and is a great way to realign muscles/chi
