I here by nominate Senor Chief as having the best= most fitting avatar...

The man is either pretty clever or damn lucky to have stumbled on that one..

The smirk on Rickles face leaves me almost defenseless & can only laugh when Chiefy tosses out some sarcasm or a wiZe crack..........

No offense but LL's old one the cutie was a good runner up but her newest one is kind of a cross between the joker & taxi driver @ a South American festival for the dead.............

What do you think???

I love your avatar. It's a flashy, easy-to-recognize indicator that the posts made by this avatar's user will be bigoted, ill-informed, repetitive and completely unoriginal. 'Scroll right on by', it seems to say. Love it!

No mommies or mods to cry to and threaten to leave if someone isn't banned for speaking negatively about your little tin God.

Maybe a fellow Obot can counsel you over in the "Power Zombies" forum? Virtual Xanax, a fresh crying towel or a diaper change, perhaps? :)

Actually, you can't. You keep demonstrating that.

Better run along, Obamazombie. Your daddy figure, Dr. Evil, needs servicing.

Don't forget to swallow or you might lose some of your green balls or one of your "badges".

I think the ugliest avatar over there was HarperLee's, next runner-up was Anhailla. Come to think of it, there are a lot of ugly ones over there!

Ciao's is pretty funny. She is such a ham anyway.

One of the few libertarians I got along with...well except for a few here. I learned a lot about it and even started looking into it (I went to a couple local meetings here in town). I just care too much for the people of America, not just myself so I couldn't totally embrace it but I do find myself agreeing with a lot of it.

I agree........... I kinda feel I am a bit of a libertarian to but obviously some aspects I could not agree w/...

I like the personal responsibility aspect & the rolling back of draconian laws regarding personal behavior..

Bill, don't you think that by instilling a sense of personal resp. in everyone, most of our problems would be solved? There's just no way around it, imo.

Well that assumes some things.

Like they have a sense of personal responsibility........:banghead:

That their sense is the same as our sense etc....

Not everyone has the same opportunity, not everyone has the same expectations.....

Naw, we don't need to tailor personal responsibility that much. A standard definition ought to suffice; each person taking resp. for their own needs, unless they are physically or mentally unable to do so.

Picture "Opportunity" as a stairwell to your future. Some people do indeed start at the bottom, some in the middle, and some just below the top step but we all have to travel that stairway. It can be described as personal growth. If you can at least get that far in this theory I think we could say everyone has the opportunity it will just require more work for some.

Yes there is opportunity & it is not equal opportunity... SOme will have to work a bit harder & some will have odds that most ppl will never overcome...

I think we want the same thing here....... Difference in how to achieve it..

Starting out w/ an equal/good education is a huge + in that direction...

Toss them & they sink or swim........ vs Some swimming lessons first..

From your prospective it is cheaper to educate than incarcerate...

One more point.. You know THNX @ PG...... he was homeless & on the street till some ppl helped him......... Now he is a fine outstanding citizens as opposed to a bum on the street...........

If you like I can invite him here & you can ask him yourself........
