"The problem is, we have replaced shit with more shit.
Hopefully, the new shit won't smell as bad as the old shit.
Regardless, shit is shit and all shit stinks. It's the nature of shit."

Do you honestly believe the shit that you posted? It appears that some are much more receptive of manipulation than others.

The elderly and terminally ill would be denied treatment based on a calculation as to how many years of taxpaying they have left to determine whether or not they are worthy of certain treatments. A eugenics program, of sorts.

Agree with UHC (or whatever you want to call it) or not, it doesn't matter, the current proposals would all involve bureaucrats denying care based on a cost analysis and life expectancy.

Bullshit!!Say goodbye to Grandma bairdi.
Under Obamacare she is a drain on resources and her life a meaningless liability.

Bullshit!!
That is a great rebuttal to LL7's proposition that healthcare would be denied to the elderly based on the Democrats proposal. Could you expand on that some?

I will not waste my time responding to absurd claims. Bullshit sums it up quite well. And by the way, which one of the Democrat's proposals are you talking about?

When the government attempts to keep costs down, they will begin to ration coverage. They will do this on a cost analysis basis by putting a value on the amount of good a dollars worth of medical procedure will buy them. Based on these numerical formulas, the older you are the less likely you will receive the rationed health care. This is straight out of Tom Daschle’s proposals.

Fear mongering is not worth commenting on.
You have no proof of your slippery slope argument and as such its not worthy of a response.

I am in support of a single payer system.
Thats not going to happen so I am in favor of a public option.
From your response I can tell that you support fear mongering and bullshit as long as it gets you the political responses you desire.

Wrong again. I favor common sense, personal responsibility and free market capitalism. None of these values would lead anyone to support the nanny style of government you seem to propose.

They will not have to wait any longer then they do now.
Wait is based on resources not the system of payment.

Using a bunch of buzz words to support the status quo is not common sense it is suicide, if we do not fix the system the system will fail and your buzz words are not a solution.

Why will the system fail? It is not failing everyone now, but Obama's plan is already weeding out the old, what is next? housewives, because they don't pay taxes either.:D

The cost of health care as it is is growing far faster then inflation.
fewer and fewer people are getting coverage and the coverage is getting less and less reliable. Close to 50 million are not covered which means we pay far more for them when they do get sick and many that have chronic conditions can't get any help at all.
Just becuase your little world is fine doesn't mean the system is, when you have more then your feelings on a topic let me know and I will listen but I really don't care what your uninformed beliefs are.

It appears you are the only uninformed here, the system is the same as it has always been. People who want coverage wil find a way to have it. Those that choose not to have it won't. It is not about system change, it is about behavior and priority change.

No
you just live in some one horse town and have no idea what the real world is like.
Heres how it works you create a system where only a certain type succeeds and then you tell everyone that the only way to have a decent life is to succeed. We rejected that paradigm and now you are just going to have to face the fact that all the people of this nation are important enough to have health care even the ones you helped to fail.

They failed themselves, as far as the town, I live in a suburb on Nashville TN and while it is not as big as your town I have been there and to many other large towns as well as overseas. Everyone has opportunity if they have any self respect or drive. There is a reason this is called the land of opportunity........I know, I know, you thought someone just came up with that out of the blue.

Its a really ignorant mind set and has almost nothing to do with reality.

You embrace the power of the few mwillman, by letting government take over or control into new areas. Think before you talk
Corporations and governments, they support each other, the very reason corporations were invented by government was to keep the power in the hands of a few.
Get real
Where would you place the blame except on those who made their own decisions?

Please save me your conspiracy theories.
Most politicians are in the hands of the people that elected them. That includes big business but it also includes the cities and towns in thier districts and their people.
Big business does what it wants and the only force we have to fight it is government. You would have us weaken the only thing that keeps big business in any kind of check.

WHo else can you blame? I grew up very poor, when I started working I decided that was going to change and it did. If you are such a hopeless individual, how do you find the strength to get up every morning?

Its from multiple reliable sources but you'll just deny them becuase you don't like their stand on things. Its doctors and nurses and many other educated people that think the system we have needs some serious work.
