I am speaking solely on your ignorance on issues brought up in these conversations. Its not like I stand alone with the opinions I have. There are great men and women on all levels of politics and the military who share the same ideas.

Standing up for basic fundamental human rights for people who have not even been charged with a crime is not "anti-American" and does not make you a "terrorist lover." It is an alternative way of looking at the same situation.

Acknowledging the atrocities that happen inside Gaza by the Israeli military without provocation is not "Anti-American" and does not make you a terrorist lover.

Seeing the Iraq invasion as illegal and immoral is not "Anti-American," and is in no way "against the troops."

If the only responce people give in here to valid and sound arguments is resorting to questioning levels of patriotism or calling people "terrorist lovers" is nothing but hate mongering and ignoring the opportunity for a civil discussion from which people on both sides of the issue might learn something.

I'll add my 2 cents... Zeb has IMO suffered a great deal from his experience in the middle east. He has my utmost respect for having the intellect and wisdom to break free from the shackes of conformity, that this government (via fearmongering) apllies to lesser minded individuals.

It should be obvious that verbal threats which directly (or indirectly) convey physical harm to a specific person should be a bannable (or in some instances a criminal)offense. However, obsentities directed toward one's genitals, gender or ethnicity start to cross over into the area of Political correctness, and such becomes more subjective in attempting to decipher it's real intent.

Life becomes sterile for me when too much PC is applied to speech or expression. Why is it that when animals engage in public displays of sex or nudity it is made fun of, but if a human even pisses outdoors and gets seen by someone who is offended, all hell breaks loose. I understand the desire of people to enforce social civillity in these subject matters, though when does the line get crossed? The movies such as 'Jackass' or 'Bruno' are veiwed by some with amusement, while others get offended.
We openly laugh when these words are used in comedy or when directed toward the slobbering masses.

I would much rather see spirited debate with a few of these 'obsentities' thrown in as spice, then a purely antiseptic one without emotion. Bottom line:

Let these words of passion pass as long as the individual to whom they are directed to is not offended. And if they are, then they should overtly make this point clear. Outside veiwers offended by these words should use restraint (it's not directed at you personaly). if you actually read what I wrote I admit to being guilty and dont play victim...how is stating that only being able to take so much before lowering myself playing victim? its called human nature...you can only take so much before snapping back...as for the racist claims...i do believe I took back what I said and have not done it since then.
