I have to admit I didn't know much about him before the Republican Debate, but this guy has a lot of my views on politics. He's more of a libertarian than a Republican, but he's got some ideas that I really agree with.

Give a once over of what he believes. Again, he stands a snowball chance in hell of winning anything, just like my favorite candidate for the Dems Bill Richardson, but I do like to see a person that has a different set of ideas.

Nonintervention for foreign policy (voted against going into Iraq), strict borders, limited role of government, free trade, and the only thing (which is amazing) that I disagree with him on is his pro-life stance.

A third party ticket with Richardson/Paul might actually be the first time I'd be excited about an election.

His isolationist views scare me. Even so, he would probably still get my vote.

Age also an issue.
